The Central Electoral Board (JEC) has agreed this Wednesday to initiate a disciplinary file against the President of the Government and PSOE candidate for the presidency for his political statements against PP and Vox, made in Spanish offices in Brussels and in the context of the Council summit European of the past 29 and 30 of June.

The decision has been adopted with the discrepancy of three of the members of the arbitration body, who have issued a particular vote to record their position.

According to the JEC, Sánchez would have violated the electoral law by “breaking the principle of institutional neutrality during the electoral period” in which he made “evaluative assessments referring to presumed achievements and achievements from which a message is deduced aimed at promoting in its recipients an assessment favorable management of the Government of the Nation in economic, labor and pension matters”.

At the same time, the JEC points out, the President of the Government and PSOE candidate made “critical appraisals, attributing alleged setbacks and cutbacks in rights to governments that arise from agreements between parties of a different political character than the parties that support the Government of the Nation, Government”.
