The exclusive on the paternity of Bertín Osborne and Gabriela Guillén, uncovered this Wednesday by Lecturas magazine, continues to give much to talk about. The singer is expecting a new baby at the age of 69, hand in hand with what he has called her 32-year-old “close friend” several times, and without confirming at any time that they are a couple.
The news has caused all kinds of reactions in the media throughout the day, including those of its own protagonists. However, the circle closest to Bertín has also ventured to comment on his paternity; one of them is Paco Arévalo, comedian and great friend of the presenter, who has spoken with Sandra Barneda on the Telecinco program Así es la vida.
The comedian, who distanced himself from Osborne for a few years before resuming their friendship, had not yet spoken to him when he heard the news from the press. “I know absolutely nothing; I have not talked about this type of relationship with Bertín,” he confessed.
Arévalo has assured that he did not know Gabriela at all until today: “I do not know this girl, or young lady, at all, nor did I know it,” he continued explaining. “She has not been introduced to me nor do I know her […] Bertín is a person who is quite closed in that regard,” he said to justify the singer’s behavior.
On several occasions, Arévalo named Bertín’s ex-wife, Fabiola Martínez, with whom he still has a great relationship before Sandra Barneda. “She is the only one who has presented me seriously,” he commented in Such is life. The comedian has revealed that, upon learning that his friend was a father again, he asked himself the following question: “With Fabiola?”
“At that moment in my head, it has caught me as a fool, the truth, and I am right now in a sea of ??confusion hearing everything I am hearing,” Arévalo confessed, as well as that he has tried to call Bertín on several occasions throughout the day and “doesn’t pick up the phone”.
