Sanir has become this Thursday one of the leading operators in Spain, especially after winning the contest for the health transport service of the Community of Madrid. The figures show the position of the new company: more than 1,000 employees, a volume of 2,500 patients transferred per day and 950,000 services per year. To all this is added the estimated turnover of 50 million euros for 2024.
In a press release, the newly born Madrid company has promised to guarantee “a public service of the highest quality”, betting on “innovation” and incorporating “the latest technological advances in mobility and digitization with highly qualified professionals”.
Likewise, the company’s priority objective is to transfer “all its knowledge” through an industrial project that allows it to “promote and lead” the current health transport sector, both urgent and programmed, having an active presence in the field of contracting public health, but also with “an important commitment” with the different private operators.
It should be noted that the company with headquarters in Madrid and delegations in Toledo, Alicante and Tenerife has opted for youth employment. The average of its workforce is 34 years old and more than 95% are assigned to care work.
With the award of this new contract, Sanir will close next year with a turnover target of more than 50 million euros and with the prospect of continuing to expand its services and geographical presence in Spain. In recent months, in addition to its contractual relationship with the Madrid public administration, it has also expanded its portfolio with important service contracts, among which Sanitas and Fraternidad Muprespa stand out.
Sanir transports more than 2,500 patients daily, with a volume of coverage that exceeds 950,000 annual services, in addition to providing coverage for another 550 events also annually.
The CEO of Sanir, Carlos Paniceres, wanted to express his objectives to public opinion during the presentation: “Spain is a country with public and private healthcare of the highest quality and demand, which requires and needs solvent and reliable collaborating companies, capable of providing a medical transport service, both urgent and scheduled, up to the current needs of society”.
He also highlighted the great importance of having emerged as leaders in the Madrid medical transport tender to demonstrate the potential of the new Sanir project, now competing with Transinsa and Alsa.
Paniceres has underlined “the need and importance of being able to guarantee safety and prevention, with a high degree of professionalism, in the increasing number of cultural events. musical and sports events that are held in our country, demonstrating the dynamism of our society and which will be another of the company’s strategic focuses of activity”.
