With the organizational chaos of access and exit from Mad Cool still recent, the Madrid City Council has designed a specific mobility plan for the celebration of the Harry Styles concert -this Friday in Villaverde- with the expected attendance of 65,000 people, which It will include a special Municipal Police device, a specific shuttle bus service and the reinforcement of Metro de Madrid.

The event takes place in the venue bounded by the streets of Laguna Dalga (north), Avenida Real de Pinto (west), the M-45 highway (south) and the path of La Rabia (east), in the same place where The Mad Cool 2023 festival was held a week ago and where significant traffic delays and crowds on foot were recorded.

The venue will open at 7:30 p.m. in order to avoid crowds and Harry Styles’ performance is expected to end at 11:30 p.m., although the space will remain open for another hour after completion to favor a staggered output. .

The Municipal Transport Company (EMT) has implemented a bus shuttle service that will connect the Gran Vía de Villaverde with the Plaza de Legazpi and Atocha, which will have 20 vehicles with a capacity for 110 passengers each, with a frequency of three minutes and a travel time between Villaverde Alto and Atocha between 12 and 35 minutes, operating between 11:00 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. in the morning.

The frequencies of the usual Metro de Madrid service will also increase, provided by L3 from Villaverde Alto, between 11:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., and a Metro shuttle service will be launched on line 3 from Villaverde Alto with stops in Legazpi, Embajadores and Sol, with a frequency of between 4 and 6 minutes, which will be operational between 1:30 and 2:30 in the morning.

Likewise, the taxi rank is located on Valle de Tobalina street, between the roundabout that converges between Acebeda and San Ezequiel streets, while the VTC services have their pick-up area on San Eustaquio street, between San Norberto streets and San Cesareo.

In relation to the VTC service, the location of the service and the passenger pick-up area will be on San Eustaquio street (between San Noberto and San Cesáreo streets).

The Madrid City Council informs that there may be traffic delays or cuts in the urban environment or the highways that lead to the vicinity of the enclosure.
