Friday Deluxe has lowered the curtain forever. And he has done it with Mercedes Milá as one of the last guests of the program. The veteran presenter, among many other topics, spoke once again about the upcoming paternity of Bertín Osborne.

The singer and presenter will be the father of his sixth child with Gaby Guillén. When the news broke, Osborne was quick to say that it was an unwanted pregnancy, since it was not in the couple’s plans to be parents.

However, these statements have raised a great deal of dust and have been highly criticized. Milá has been one of the personalities who has spoken out against Osborne’s words and even dedicated a video to him, also widely criticized.

In Deluxe, the journalist assured that the presenter’s words are a grievance for many women: “I don’t know what you will think, nor what the public will think. I believe that Bertín has touched a part of the sensitivity of all women. Not right, not left, not old, not young. Of all the women. We have it on the surface, that’s why I got that bubble, that they can criticize me, I admit everything. If we go out on television it’s for them to say what they want.”

On the other hand, Milá defended his reaction because “what I have done is well done.” The Catalan commented that she has only “defended herself from this aggression, although I am not her girlfriend”, and agreed that Osborne cannot complain about something that he has caused: “He should not complain after that woman has become pregnant and He is an unwanted child.”

In addition, something that Milá did not like either was the presenter’s public statement referring to the fact that he would comply as a father and would not repudiate the baby: “Man, please, but what is this? That she is going to take care of everything … What a rest! look where”
