In a change of scenery from his usual political environment, the President of the Government and leader of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, has picked up the gauntlet of Carlos Peguer and María de los Ángeles Maturana to be on his popular podcast La Pija y la Quinqui.
In this episode recorded before the electoral debate on July 10 with Alberto Núñez Feijóo, Sánchez has shown a personal and relaxed side, joking and sharing details of his life that are rarely seen in the political spotlight.
In fact, the conversation with Peguer and Maturana, both 23 years old and hosts of one of the most listened to podcasts among young people, was far removed from politics. This more relaxed environment has given way to personal revelations by Sánchez, including his musical predilections.
The leader of the Spanish government, who does not consider himself posh or quinqui, has revealed several unknown aspects of his private life, including a surprising affinity for indie music and a notable aversion for a genre that reigns among young people: “I cannot with the reggaeton”. However, he has great admiration for Rosalía and Taylor Swift, whom he has described as “artists”. In addition, from the indie field, Sánchez has highlighted Caroline Polachek and Bronquio among his favorites.
His passion for music has led him to be a regular at festivals, being the FIB one of the ones he enjoys the most. In addition, Sánchez has confessed that he designs his own playlists.
On the other hand, Sánchez has commented that the networks, even if they mess with him, also make him laugh the odd thing. Among all the memes that have been made about him, the one he finds most amusing is the one that states that “Perro Sánchez knows more for a dog than for Sánchez”, but it is also “funny” that they call him Falconetti because of his use of the Falcon plane. .
President Sánchez has also admitted that, in his youth, he aspired to be a basketball player, and has confessed that, despite his current status, he longs for the feeling of driving.
