Two minors aged 14 and 15, respectively, have been injured after being fired from a fairground attraction in which the restraint systems have failed in the Toledo town of Ventas de Retamosa. After suffering the incident in the early hours of this Sunday, they had minor bruises and were discharged, Sescam sources confirm.

As sources from 112 in Castilla-La Mancha have informed Europa Press, the notice was received at 1:30 p.m. in an attraction on Calle Juan Pablo II.

The two girls were transferred to the University Hospital of Toledo. They were first treated by an ICU on the spot and later transferred to the Toledo hospital.

The Civil Guard, the Local Police, an UVI and a basic life support ambulance traveled to the scene.

A Civil Guard patrol arrived at the scene, where the minors were being cared for by Civil Protection and the Local Police.

The ‘Kangaroo’ attraction was sealed by the Civil Guard and the Illescas Judicial Police took over the investigation.

Throughout the morning of this Sunday, the visual inspection of it will be carried out to determine what failed in the security mechanism.
