‘The hour of 1’ has generated a lot of controversy after Silvia Intxaurrondo’s interview with Alberto Núñez Feijoo. Several well-known faces from TVE have harshly criticized the presenter’s actions for correcting the leader of the PP about the data that she provided in Atresmedia’s Cara a Cara. And the last person to do so was the comedian Anabel Alonso.
If something characterizes Alonso, it is that he is not afraid of being transparent and giving his opinion on any subject. For this reason, he has reacted to this interview by making a clear appeal to the public to vote in the elections on July 23.
The face-to-face between Pedro Sánchez and Alberto Núñez Feijóo generated a barrage of criticism for the lack of reaction and rigor of the moderators, Vicente Vallés and Ana Pastor, when it came to contrasting the information that Feijóo contributed to the program. However, the presenter Intxaurrondo has not remained silent and she has not hesitated to show her face and review what the leader of the PP said.
The presenter and the leader of the PP have begun to disagree talking about the revaluation of pensions based on the CPI. Feijóo assured that the PP “has never stopped revaluing pensions. The only one that froze pensions was the PSOE”. To which Intxaurrondo has not hesitated to correct him: “It is not correct, Mr. Feijóo. They did not do it in 2012, nor in 2013 nor in 2017”.
Silvia Intxaurrondo’s performance has been applauded on social networks, although some sectors, including TVE, have condemned the journalist for her harshness during the interview. Something that has reminded her when she was fired from Telemadrid after questioning Díaz Ayuso as soon as she took control of the regional network as president.
Given the background, Anabel Alonso has gotten wet on Twitter to prevent something like this from happening again and has called for everyone to vote in the general elections on July 23.
