The influencer Oto Vans has lived closely an episode of tension this morning in Madrid. During a morning walk, the personality of Croatian origin has recorded the escape attempt of a thief through the streets of the Spanish capital. It was a young man who was carrying a stolen tobacco carton in his hand. Several passers-by followed him until he was reduced and detained, while the woman who was the victim of the robbery recovered the object that had been taken from her.
Vans has recorded the chase in an Instagram story, in addition to adding several more copies of the video to its record, with comments and analysis of the moment. “It’s that ‘honey’, you can’t commit a theft by going in flip flops, where do you come from? From the beach in Madrid? I ask ”, he highlighted in one of the additional captures. The youtuber followed the thief with her camera followed by several other people, who ended up blocking the criminal’s path in an alley.
Upon reaching the corner in question, a man with a backpack managed to catch up and put his arm around his neck, immobilizing him. A woman carrying a shopping bag appears as the victim of the robbery, recovering the carton of tobacco that the young man had taken from her. Moments later, a group of workers from an elevator company come to help the person responsible for holding him. Four of them manage to leave the person responsible for the theft on the ground.
Vans was accompanied by her two brothers during the chase. They both followed her trail and ended up after her, reacting to the facts.
