In an act of transparency, Barça received this Tuesday the Àgora Blaugrana group, which represents more than 1,000 members of the club, to resolve the numerous doubts it had raised about the Espai Barça, a project that will end in 2027 according to initial forecasts .
The blaugrana entity, represented by the institutional vice president, Elena Fort, the economic vice president, Eduard Romeu, and five senior executives, has answered the 87 questions raised by the platform, which has left the meeting satisfied but still with doubts about the financing and compliance with the mandate of the assembly of delegates. The two parties have called for a next meeting in September.
Àgora Blaugrana does not define itself as an opposition nor does it want to prosecute the club, but seeks maximum transparency and ultimately prevents the club from becoming a Sports Public Limited Company. The doubts revolved, above all, around the award of the Limak company, the participation of Goldman Sachs and the different vicissitudes that involve a reform with a maximum budget of 1,500 million, as approved in the assembly.
The group of partners highlighted the good predisposition of both parties in the meeting, although they still have concerns about the process of adjudication and development of the remodeling of the Camp Nou and also of the Palau Blaugrana, included in the budget.
The renovation works on the Espai Barça began on June 1st and the Camp Nou is currently practically in ruins, a large part of the stadium dismantled by the 400 employees and the numerous cranes that work from 8 in the morning to 7 at the afternoon from Monday to Saturday, the latter day with special permission.
