Barely a week has passed since it became known that Bertín Osborne will become a father again at the age of 69, this time with Gabriela Guillén. The news caused a barrage of criticism for his high age and for not having clarified what his relationship with the woman is. Now, it has also been known that the singer and presenter will add this new paternity to the birth of his granddaughter Violeta.
Claudia Osborne, Bertín’s daughter, happily confirmed it through social networks. “We are pregnant with our second daughter,” she wrote on Instagram. A fact that the singer’s ex-wife, Fabiola Martínez, did not find out from him but through the press, something she spoke about on Tuesday on the Antena 3 program Y ahora Sonsoles.
The businesswoman has initially assessed Bertín’s attitude in recent days, after attacking the media and pointing out presenters such as Sonsoles Ónega herself. “I think it was a surprise; obviously he was not prepared for it, and I think both he and the environment are getting used to the idea,” she explained about his paternity with Gabriela.
Fabiola considers that her ex-husband “has not been quite clear” because “he has been adjusting what he has tried to say from the beginning to what we have been hearing lately”, alluding to the controversial video he published on his social networks.
Despite the fact that their relationship ended more than two years ago, Fabiola admits to having a great interest in the well-being of Bertín Osborne and his relatives. “Of course I worry about him, about the father of my children,” she admits before the cameras of Y ahora Sonsoles.
Martínez has also had words for another of the singer’s acts against the press, which he expelled from the gate of his farm a few days after knowing his paternity with Gabriela Guillén. “It’s a farm entrance lane, but trucks and many cars pass through there; if there are only two cars stopped at the door, they already block the street and you can’t see it,” thus justifying Bertín’s attitude.
