The roof slab of the loading dock of a Post Office in the Carabanchel district suffered a partial collapse yesterday without resulting in any person being injured, as reported by Emergencias Madrid.
The collapse of some 60 square meters of wrought iron occurred around 7:45 p.m. at number 16 Alejandro Morán street, in a building that on one side houses a Post Office and on the other a loading dock where the motorcycles and that in the background it was empty, according to an Emergencies spokeswoman.
Three fire crews from the Madrid City Council have gone to the scene, as well as municipal technicians from Deficient Building, agents of the National Police and Municipal Police and, in preventive action, toilets from the Samur-Civil Protection.
The firefighters evacuated the building attached to the collapsed one as a precaution, and the residents of this property were able to return to their homes when it was determined that the structure of the adjoining property had not been affected.
