Iván Álvarez, a 30-year-old industrial engineer from Mosca, has won the title of Mister Supranational 2023, an international contest in charge of choosing the most handsome man in the world. The final, held this weekend in Poland, welcomed applicants from 33 other countries, although Álvarez managed to win.

The event was held at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in the city of Nowy S?cz (Poland), where Álvarez shone thanks to his elegance and charisma. The first runner-up in the contest was Brazilian Henrique Martins, a popular Olympic swimmer, while the second runner-up was Luca Derin, the candidate from the Netherlands.

His triumph represents a milestone in our country, since the Galician is the first European candidate to win said contest, which began to be held in 2016.

Iván Álvarez, a resident of Mos, specializes in the automotive industry. Goal-oriented, the Galician describes himself as a non-conformist who tries to get out of his comfort zone by constantly setting himself new challenges. In his future plans is to have his own company in his professional sector.

The official page of the contest reveals that this contest has been quite a challenge for Iván, who is not used to participating in this type of contest. Among his greatest achievements is ‘From the Ground Up’, a project to fight cancer.

Through him, Álvarez organized events such as the ‘Andaina’, which took place in his hometown and in which Nidia Arévalo, the Mos council, among other participants, collaborated.
