Carmen Borrego is not going through the best days of her life. In her own words, she is experiencing the “worst moments”. The young daughter of María Teresa Campos has had a difficult few weeks, especially after verifying the bad relationship that she still has with her son, José María Almoguera, even after the birth of her grandson. However, the last negative note from her has not been given because of her family situation. In this case, the person responsible was the heat wave.
Semana magazine caught the former Sálvame collaborator walking through the streets of Malaga with her husband, José Carlos Bernal. The couple shared space in the Andalusian city coinciding with the Carmen festivities. However, a major setback hit her on the pavement. The communicator was seen crying with her partner, even having to be fanned to regain her composure, after she suffered a suffocation.
The television station was able to recover, but it counts in this way as one more affected by the high temperatures that hit the Iberian Peninsula this week. Since this past Tuesday, the thermometers have shot above 40 degrees in some locations. Andalusia is one of the most affected communities, with all the provinces on alert for temperatures between 38 and 42 degrees that will be reached during the day this Wednesday.
Going back to Carmen Borrego, the former collaborator of Sálvame is going through a very negative phase of her life since the program came to an end. Despite the sadness of saying goodbye to the space that for fourteen years gave voice to her and her other collaborators together with Jorge Javier Vázquez, Borrego was clear about what to do afterwards. Wanting to open a chicken roaster with the help of Belén Esteban, the collaborator would have an objective with which to dispel all her ills.
On the one hand, Carmen Borrego does not speak to her son, José María Almoguera, who gave her her first grandchild together with Paola Olmedo last June, despite the lack of communication. On the other, she is tremendously worried about her mother, who suffers from a delicate illness that has seriously impaired her abilities in a very short time. Two situations that, as reported by Semana magazine in recent months, caused the malagueña to hit rock bottom.
The distance between Borrego and Almoguera became evident at the end of 2022, when Sálvame published some uncomfortable sound documents in which Paola Olmedo criticized her mother-in-law and the rest of the Campos family.
Carmen tried to stay out of everything that happened, but ended up speaking out to defend her mother and sister on set, something that ended up increasing the distance between the collaborator and the couple. The gesture of not spending Christmas together was the most obvious proof.
