Generally, summer is associated with vacations. When we are students, it is usually whole months of rest and disconnection. In adulthood and once immersed in the labor market, our days off are less abundant, but equally necessary.

During the holidays we can disconnect from daily obligations, responsibilities, routine, rush… However, not all people enjoy this privilege. This is the case, for example, of self-employed workers who cannot afford to stop working for a few days. Or people who have started in a new position and do not yet have days off.

The truth is that enjoying a period of calm, where we do not have to worry about work and chores, are very necessary for our physical and emotional well-being. On a mental level, resting from time to time is essential to take a breather from the mental load, stress and exhaustion. Therefore, if this summer you do not have a vacation, there are a series of tips that you can adopt to avoid taking a toll on you.
