On June 23, Sálvame said goodbye forever to all its viewers. After more than fourteen years occupying the afternoons of Telecinco, the space of La Fabrica de la tele had to say goodbye with a very special program, in which there was no shortage of emotions, memories and a huge bonfire in the vicinity of the studios, where the team got rid of all their secrets.
This unexpected decision was made by the new Mediaset direct team, which is currently focused on carrying out a complete restructuring of its entire television schedule. For this reason, the replacement for Jorge Javier Vázquez will be Ana Rosa Quinta, who will jump from the mornings to the afternoons of Telecinco.
But although the news caused great sadness among the thousands of followers of the La Fábrica de la Tele space, a few weeks ago we also learned that the production company had reached an agreement with Netflix to record a new reality show, in which eight of the collaborators will travel to America to find new professional challenges.
The eight chosen were: Belén Esteban, Kiko Matamoros, Chelo García Cortés, María Patiño, Lydia Lozano, Kiko Hernández, Terelu Campos and Víctor Sandoval. After days without knowing practically anything about them, they appeared at the Madrid airport prepared to head to Miami and Mexico City.
For this reason, today, July 20, Netflix has published the first images of the collaborators, in which they can be seen saying goodbye to their pets, their routines and typical Spanish customs, which they will surely miss throughout the filming of the program.
The video has not gone unnoticed on social networks and user reactions have not been long in coming. One of the most commented farewells has been that of María Patiño. The presenter appears in the video saying goodbye first to her chinchillas, whom she is very fond of.
Later, the journalist also said goodbye to her beloved dog and even asked her for a hug. “Hug me, hug me,” the presenter told him. The dog’s reaction and Patiño’s words have been the subject of memes on social media.
