A woman and her two-year-old son have been injured after falling from a third floor inside a building in the Valencian town of Oliva. The first hypothesis that is being considered is that it is an accidental fall, knowledgeable sources have pointed out to Europa Press.

The event occurred after 6:30 p.m. this Monday on Calle Santísimo in the town. Firefighters from the Oliva park and a sergeant from Gandia have moved to the place, who have acted after receiving notice that there were two people rushed into a bleak interior.

In order to access where they were, the firefighters have opened the door, facilitating access to the various emergency services, explains the Provincial Consortium.

Subsequently, they have supported the health media in the immobilization and transfer of the injured to the ambulances and have facilitated the facilities of the Oliva fire station so that the Generalitat’s medical helicopter could take care of the minor.

Both the minor and his mother had polytraumatism. The minor was evacuated to the La Fe Hospital in Valencia in an air SAMU, while the woman was taken to the Francesc de Borja Hospital in Gandia in a land SAMU, as reported by the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU).
