I have captured these photographs for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia on a morning at the end of July with lower temperatures, uncertain weather and dark clouds covering the sky in this area of ??Castelldefels beach, in Baix Llobregat.
Bad day for the bathers and, on the other hand, the only ones who seemed to enjoy themselves, and a lot, were the wild rabbits that ran up and down, nibbling the odd plant and that were seen in greater numbers than other days and in a very more confident.
On beaches such as those in the municipalities of Castelldefels or Gavà there are areas of dunes, which are created from the Delta del Llobregat to Port Ginesta.
These dunes, which are located in the vicinity of the beach, serve to stop flooding at high tide, in addition to bringing great biodiversity of vegetation to the area.
But, in addition to the plants that grow there, they are also important for creating habitats for different animals, including the rabbit, the protagonist of these images.
