María Pombo had been busy for a few weeks since the beginning of July. The renowned influencer was one of the many celebrities spotted at the Madrid premiere of Barbie, wearing her best clothes for the occasion. In the same way, she continues to recover from the delivery in which she gave birth to Vega, showing her scar left by the cesarean section on her social networks. Even so, this morning she received very good news.
The social media personality received a call this morning from his neurologist, after having a check-up last Sunday. In it, the doctor has confirmed that there was no type of new lesion in relation to her multiple sclerosis, a disease that she confessed to suffering in an interview in My house is yours. Since then she has been gradually advancing in hers day by day, and this is a new step for her.
Pombo has announced it to great fanfare in a story published on Instagram, in which he has recounted the procedure. According to her account, the medical examination that she had in the hospital is usually repeated once a year, except when she has been pregnant. After giving birth, she had to wait until this past weekend to see the medical team again, and once there they confirmed that there had been no new injuries and that everything was in order.
Positive news for the influencer, highlighting that she has not suffered any new mishap or setback regarding multiple sclerosis. In the words of her neurologist, “everything remains the same, there has been no evolution”, a positive sign for the future. And it is that at the time of her, when Pombo confessed to suffering from multiple sclerosis, she felt confused and defenseless, as she confessed on the Bertín Osborne interview program on Telecinco.
“I spent 15 days without uploading anything, from the shock, I was in an outbreak. I was waiting for the news. It has no cure, but it has treatment. The outbreak consisted of the fact that my foot began to tickle but, on the twentieth day, it had already climbed to the side, ”he revealed in April 2022.“ I was lucky and it tingled. It was when we started walking after confinement. When she climbed next to me, I called my aunt Blanca, already scared and with a broken voice. I was just asking that it be nothing that I didn’t know about,” she added.
Last June, Pombo also spoke about the difficulties she faced during her pregnancy, and details to take into account with the disease. “My neurologist told me that the best medicine for this is to be pregnant because the baby protects me, but now I’m a little more nervous because this is a period that favors flare-ups,” she said when she left the hospital. At the end of the pregnancy, the protective hormones returned to normal levels, something that she left to her mercy.
