Every week you will find in this menu two recipes with fish. Although they are usually preparations with fresh fish, the truth is that in my kitchen I sometimes cover at least one of those recipes with cans.

And it is that a single canned tuna, for example, “dresses” you a salad, makes you an ideal filling for a sandwich or turns modest macaroni and tomato into a complete meal. And also, for a reasonable price.

But there is much more than tuna in the sea from your supermarket. Sardines, mackerel, tuna of the north, shellfish. In Spain we are lucky to have a huge variety of canned seafood.

That is why I recommend you always have a can (or two) of some type of fish in the pantry. They will get you out of trouble, you will not spend as much, and you will be complying with the recommendations for a balanced diet.
