Civil Protection has deactivated this morning, around 02:40, the Inuncat plan, which was on alert for the front that has crossed a large part of the country during the night and early morning with rain and storms, especially in the West. There have been quite a few minor incidents and there is no record of any personal involvement.
Among the effects caused by the passage of the front, the lack of electricity supply stands out, which reached 16,000 subscribers in various towns in the Lleida region. The distribution company allocated teams in the field to carry out the reconnection to the network. At 06:00 in the morning, 793 subscribers were affected in Balaguer, Linyola and smaller towns, while at 07:30 there were only 371 subscribers without electricity in Linyola and Cabó.
As regards traffic, on the C-16 in Guardiola de Berguedà, an alternative route has been taken at night due to fallen branches on the road due to the storm. The Generalitat fire brigade reports that between 8:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m., they received 175 notices for services related to the storm, the vast majority due to fallen trees.
In Queralbs, the Special Actions Group (GRAE) of the Firefighters has initiated a device to rescue a large group of children who were camped and whose tents had been blown up, although once the situation was assessed it was only necessary relocate part of the group to the Ribes de Freser Pavilion.
