On January 27, 1993, an entire country came to a standstill after learning about the famous triple crime of Alcàsser. Miriam, Toñi and Desirée, three girls between the ages of 14 and 15 from the Valencian town of Alcàsser, were found dead, after having been kidnapped, raped and murdered, when they were on their way to a nightclub in the Valencian town of Picassent.

After an arduous police investigation, all the evidence pointed to the triple crime being committed by Antonio Anglés and Miguel Ricart. The security forces managed to capture Ricart, but Anglés managed to escape. Thirty years after a terrible crime, which shocked an entire country, the whereabouts of the murderer are still unknown.

A few months ago, La Sexta broadcast the docuseries Anglés: historia de una fuga, in which they revealed new testimonies that fueled the possibility that the author of kidnapping, torturing and murdering Miriam, Toñi and Desirée, together with Miguel Ricart, was still alive. But for the moment everything that surrounds the case remains a mystery and the whereabouts of the fugitive even more so.

But despite the heinous crimes committed by murderers like Antonio Anglés, many of them manage to receive the inexplicable admiration of people. An example of this is the case of Miguel Carcaño. The man convicted of the death of Marta del Castillo has been receiving letters from admirers for years. This week the news broke that just a year ago he met a woman through face-to-face contact and now they both want to start a family.

This shocking news has not gone unnoticed in the media and many have wanted to discuss the issue this Friday. One of them has been the Y Ahora Sonsoles program. During the program, the journalist Carlos Quílez wanted to give more details about the disturbing love obsessions that arise around certain murderers.

The collaborator of the space assured that these supposed and disturbing love stories provide them with the legal benefit of being rooted. ”It makes it much easier for you to get an exit permit,” he declared. But the journalist went much further and stated that there are even assassin fan clubs. ”Everyone will know Ted Bundy from the United States, today there is a fan club in New York, which pays homage and tribute to his figure and they are women,” he said.

”In Spain I am certain, and the source is reliable, that there is a fan club in Valencia of Antonio Anglés, which pays homage and tribute to the figure of this murderer, who destroyed the lives of three creatures and is made up of women”, he confessed before the astonished look of Sonsoles Ónega, who could not believe the words he was hearing.
