Scare and alarm this morning in Mont-roig del Camp (Baix Camp). A vegetation fire, especially bushes, has forced the confinement of the Miami Platja and Costa Zafir urbanizations due to the accumulation of smoke. The preventive confinement has been lifted after the fire was considered stabilized. The flames make it necessary to keep the A-7 motorway cut as it passes through this Baix Camp town, between Cambrils and l’Hospitalet de l’Infant, and the circulation of trains on the R-16 line.
The fire has caused a large column of smoke, visible from various points in the Camp de Tarragona, also from several of the beaches.
