Letizia’s first appearances in Mallorca show once again the Queen’s predilection for recycling pieces with a Spanish stamp from her wardrobe. Of course, giving them a new air through accessories and premiere sandals. She demonstrated it on Monday at the closing ceremony of the Atlàntida Film Fest with a successful black dress by Uterqüe and this Tuesday she does it again at the first pose of the royal family on the island.

For this occasion, the Queen has opted for the color of the season, pink, in a clear nod to the Barbiecore trend that has obsessed the industry since the movie starring Margot Robbie about the popular doll was released last week.

The piece is signed by one of her favorite couturiers, Adolfo Domínguez, and is part of her spring/summer 2020 collection. The design is fresh and timeless and features flattering pleats, a V-neckline, and an asymmetric hem that gives it flight and movement.

To combine this archival item, the Queen has dropped her heels and has opted for flat espadrilles from the Ibizan firm Espardenyes Torres. A shoe available in an online store that has been repeated several times over the years in Mallorca.

Loose and natural hair seems to be a new basic for the Queen, as well as wearing very subtle, almost imperceptible makeup and minimalist jewelry.

To finish off the styling, Letizia has recovered a medium-sized carrycot that stands out for its leather straps and its crochet finish. The bag is the work of Audali, a brand originally from Mallorca, and reflects the Queen’s interest in making local artisan work visible in the industry.
