Alessandro Lequio has had a very tough television season. Although he is a man who is characterized by not mincing words and by saying what he thinks at all times, the star theme of the season has left him mentally exhausted.
A few months ago, it came to light that Ana Obregón, mother of his deceased son, had traveled to Miami and had become a mother at 68 years of age through a surrogacy process. To carry out this process, Obregón used the frozen semen of her son Aless Lequio, which directly made the Mediaset worker the biological grandfather of little Ana Sandra.
The subject became controversial and occupied television headlines and minutes for months. The ethics of surrogates, the use of a deceased’s sperm, the advanced age of the biologist… everything became a social judgment in which people had merciless opinions. For the communicator and businessman, it was very hard to live the consequences of Obregón’s decision, since he prefers not to name his deceased son on television.
The launch of the joint book of the actress from Ana y los Siete and the deceased also gave a lot of talk on social networks and in heart programs, something that caused a lot of emotional upset to the partner of Ana Rosa Quintana and Joaquín Prat.
When Obregón published El chico de las Musarañas, Count Lequio exploded and made it clear that it was not a happy story: “What seems tremendous to me is that they say that it is a wonderful story. That a 27-year-old boy has died is not wonderful. It’s a horror story, and the worst of terrors.”
In a statement for the newspaper El Mundo, the aristocrat made it clear what his reasons were for not wanting to talk about his son in interviews and why he did not share Ana Obregón’s way of grieving: “I have decided not to talk about my son because he wouldn’t want me to do it. Not him or anything close to him.” Even though he doesn’t want to play the media game and talk about it, he understands that it is: ”You can’t do anything to avoid it, you have to learn to live with it. The absurd thing is those people who make fame profitable, but then want to have their hours of freedom.”
Lequio is one of the Mediaset España workers who stars in the most controversies. The collaborator of El Programa de Ana Rosa is not afraid when it comes to expressing his dislike for some of the most beloved characters on television and the world of the heart and always speaks openly and without fear of what they will say.
Some of his most controversial statements in recent months have made Tamara Falcó fans very angry, since the 63-year-old man spoke mercilessly about the appearance and weight of the Marquise de Griñón ahead of her wedding and made it clear on television national that Isabel Preysler’s daughter is not the “innocent” girl she appears to be.
