Zhanna Samsonova, a Russian content creator who died on July 21 in Malaysia, at the age of 39, due to starvation. Officials are investigating her cause of death, which appears to be related to malnutrition stemming from a strict diet based on the consumption of rare fruits.

He had shared his diet based on “fruits, sunflower seed sprouts, fruit shakes and juices” for five years. However, at certain times she practiced dry fasting or did not eat or drink for a long period of hours.

“Not drinking water is a common experience among raw frugivores. I am not thirsty for water. I don’t want to drink water. I get my water from fruits and coconuts and that’s fine with me,” Zhanna told his followers.

Meanwhile, a friend of Samsonova’s revealed that for the past seven years, she had limited herself to eating only sweet, giant jackfruit, as well as durian, a spiky fruit with creamy flesh and a distinctive smell as well as harmful.

Samsonova’s strict eating regimen has drawn criticism and concern from nutrition experts, who warn of the risks associated with a raw vegan diet, as it could lead to nutritional deficiencies and health problems.
