The next edition of the European Film Festival, scheduled as every year for the month of November, will be moved to the spring of 2024 so as not to coincide with the celebration of the Grammy Awards, which will be held in Seville in its first edition outside from United States.

The transfer of dates has been announced this Wednesday by the municipal delegate for Culture of Seville, Minerva Salas, in a statement in which she states that holding the festival on its usual dates “is incompatible with the development of the numerous and extensive activities that are getting ready” for the Grammy Awards.

Both the celebration of the film festival and the Grammy delivery schedule will be extended for a week. Minerva Salas assures in the statement that the celebration of the Grammy awards ceremony in Seville “is going to be quite an event for the city.”

The XXIV Latin Grammy Awards delivery gala will be held in Seville on November 16, as officially announced in this city last April by the executive director of the Latin Recording Academy, Manuel Abud.

The Latin Grammy Week agenda will begin on the 12th of the same month, with activities in various locations in Andalusia.
