Raquel Sánchez Silva is once again in the media spotlight. The presenter premiered a few weeks ago her new reality show, Falso Amor, from the hand of the American platform Netflix. But a few weeks later, the red giant announced the premiere of one of the most anticipated and controversial documentaries of the year, The Last Hours of Mario Biondo.
And it is that ten years have passed since the first husband of Raquel Sánchez Silva lost his life in strange circumstances. For this reason, on the occasion of the anniversary of her death, Netflix wanted to make a documentary detailing step by step everything that happened that night of May 30, 2013.
But this new audiovisual project, which is made up of a total of three episodes and which is already available on the platform, has not been without controversy in recent months. The family of the deceased refused to participate in the documentary when they found out that its production was in charge of Guillermo Gómez, the presenter’s former manager.
This detail set off all the alarms for Mario Biondo’s family, who immediately wanted to ignore the report. One of the most affected has been the mother of the young Italian, Santina D’Alessandro, who has been fighting all these years to learn the truth about the death of her son.
The magazine Semana and the EuropaPress medium have recently published new statements by the Italian, sent by herself from Italy, in which she assures the great disappointment she was led to learn that the presenter’s ex-manager was behind her, even going so far as to affirm that the report had been made by Raquel Sánchez Silva herself.
”I never would have expected that Raquel’s ex-manager, my son’s widow, was behind all this. They deceived me, they deceived me in a hidden way, “she declared. “It is very difficult for a mother to lose a child, but it is even more difficult to feel used by someone who takes advantage of your pain,” she assured. “I don’t know what the documentary will be like, nor can I imagine it, but I’m sure it will hurt a lot and no one has the right to do this to me,” she concluded.
