The arrival of the Patricia storm in the middle of August is wreaking havoc on a large part of the beaches of Spain, especially on the Cantabrian coast. The strong waves and the sudden drop in temperatures during the summer have surprised many and this has been reflected in some of the live television programs, such as En boca de todos.
A team from the Cuatro space, presented these days by Nacho Abad, has traveled to the province of Alicante to show the effects of the storm on the beach, although this time the news has not been that, but the mishap that has suffered the cameraman in charge of carrying out the direct.
Esther Yáñez, the reporter who was making the connection, has also suffered the effects of the wind during the live broadcast. “Let’s see if I can get there to show you the waves again”, she said just when the operator suffered a fall. “Whoops, our camera just fell due to the wind”, she added between laughs, to which she added that hers “is a risky job” in these circumstances.
The moment has not gone unnoticed by Abad either, who joked about the situation from the set. “The cameraman wanted to sunbathe!” He responded to his partner with a laugh. The worker, named Rafa, had to be helped by Yáñez to get back on the job. “It’s that it comes with a camera like before, the kind that weighs,” added the journalist.
The nice moment, fortunately, has not resulted in personal or material damage, so the connection with the Alicante beach has been able to continue normally after a few seconds. In fact, Esther Yáñez has continued to maintain the ironic tone after the slip.
“We are indeed the resistance”, assured the reporter, while the cameraman tried to recover the stability of the shot in order to finish the direct point. “Everything to show you the waves, to say goodbye,” added Yáñez.
