Another Monday with a start on Paseo de Gràcia in Barcelona. A new moon landing robbery, this time in the Chanel window, exactly one week after a similar robbery took place at the Louis Vuitton store.

The moon landing, a violent method widely used lately by thieves, happened around 5:30 in the morning (at 6:00 it was Louis Vuitton’s) when a metallic dark gray car crashed into the luxury store. According to police sources, a Mossos patrol caught them red-handed and the thieves escaped at that moment without even being able to enter the store.

The establishment has been opened with the entrance windows completely broken by the crash and, until early in the morning, the area has remained cordoned off with the vehicle still inside.

The Mossos d’Esquadra have already opened an investigation to find out the identity of the thieves.
