The Daniel Sancho case has shaken current affairs in Spain. The 29-year-old, son of the well-known actor Rodolfo Sancho, is in provisional prison after having confessed to the murder of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta. The Spaniard pleaded guilty to charges of premeditated murder and concealment of evidence of a crime, brought by a Koh Samui provincial court judge. In addition, Sancho had also pleaded guilty to the murder and dismemberment of Arrieta at the Koh Phangan police station last Saturday.
