The month of August does not stop confirming his fame in Spain. As the days progress, the summer sun imposes its force, and the temperatures in the peninsula become unbearable. According to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), Spain will experience a mostly sunny day this Tuesday, August 15, with some significant exceptions.

During the morning hours, a practically clear sky is expected in most of the Peninsula. However, a worn front will bring rain to northern Galicia and the Cantabrian region. In contrast, the rest of the country, from the central plateau to the Mediterranean coasts, will enjoy a sunny and stable day.

The Canary Islands will also experience their usual influence from the trade winds. These winds, which blow constantly from the northeast, could contribute to a slight drop in temperatures in the archipelago.

The afternoon promises atmospheric changes in some areas. In the northeast and interior east of the country, cloudy intervals of evolution are anticipated, which could give rise to isolated storms in Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria.

Regarding temperatures, some southern regions will record highs that touch worrying levels. The provinces of Albacete, Ciudad Real and Jaén will be dangerously close to 38 degrees Celsius, while both Palma and Seville hope to reach 37 degrees.

Given the high temperatures, the AEMET has issued a yellow level warning that will affect the provinces of Córdoba, Granada, Jaén and Málaga between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. This notice is given in order for the population to take the necessary precautions to avoid possible heat strokes and other problems related to high temperatures.

Looking ahead to the next day, Wednesday the 16th, the outlook will not change significantly. The rains in the Cantabrian Sea will continue to be present and the storms will continue to affect the northeast of the country. The Canary Islands will maintain their pattern with strong trade winds.
