A man has been arrested in Tudela as the alleged perpetrator of two crimes, one against the inviolability of correspondence and another minor theft. The Foral Police carried out the arrest of this citizen who was captured by the building’s security cameras opening packages from his neighbors.

The Provincial Police investigations began upon receiving a complaint alleging a possible crime of illegal access to content deposited in a community mailbox on the portal.

The victim suspected that a neighbor would have taken a package and the object it contained, having subsequently deposited it open. Apparently it was not the first time it had happened, so the community installed security cameras in the property.

The regional police officers agreed to study the images and were able to confirm the facts denounced. Once the author was identified, with a police record, he was arrested and transferred to the police station to continue with the proceedings.

The report, prepared by agents of the Judicial Police Group, has been sent to a court on duty and to the prosecutor’s office in the riverside capital, where the case remains open.
