An attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) this Tuesday caused the death in Gaza of seven volunteers from the NGO World Central Kitchen, the organization of chef José Andrés.
The events occurred this Tuesday, when a convoy with the NGO logo was intercepted by the Israeli army shortly after leaving a warehouse located in the Strip to distribute aid to the Palestinian population. In a statement shared on social networks, the organization has pointed out that this is a “deliberate” act by the IDF and has announced a pause in operations in the region. “It is not only an attack against World Central Kitchen, it is an attack against humanitarian organizations; it is intolerable,” the NGO lamented.
