The exhibition ‘The legacy of the Qin and Han dynasties, China. The Warriors of Xi’an’ faces the end of summer with a new record of more than 126,000 visits, historical figures for the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ).

‘The Warriors of Xi’an’, which will remain in Alicante until January 28, has an outstanding selection of ten original terracotta sculptures, nine warriors and one horse. This is the maximum number of these pieces that the National Administration of Cultural Heritage of China (NCHA) currently authorizes for its trips abroad.

Along with them, another 120 pieces or sets of these originals are exhibited, some of which have never been exhibited outside of China, and five replicas such as two cars. They are distributed in the three temporary rooms of the MARQ.

The exhibition includes a selection of 120 original pieces from nine museums and institutions in China. It offers an original and elaborate exhibition design with didactic materials accessible to all audiences, as well as sensory resources that have created an immersive environment through different scents.
