There are only a few days of infernal heat left, since the heat wave is slowly going away thanks to the effects of Storm Betty and a sharp drop in temperature today in the north, which will spread throughout the country. However, the high temperatures, up to 44 degrees, will hit the southern half, the northeast and the islands, with five communities one more day on orange alert.
Specifically, this Friday five autonomous communities will still remain on orange alert: Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Murcia and the Valencian Community, as indicated by the predictions of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
In yellow, with risk due to heat but slightly lower than the previous one, are: Aragon, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Castilla y León, Catalonia and Madrid, with values ??around 34 and 38 degrees. Meanwhile, in Andalusia, 44 degrees will be reached on time in the Cordoba, Cadiz and Seville countryside.
Likewise, between 39 and 41 degrees will be registered in large areas of the Andalusian community and suffocating temperatures will continue in areas such as Morena and Segura (Jaén) or in Andévalo and Condado (Huelva). On the other hand, on the southern coast of Valencia (Valencian Community) it will reach 39 degrees and in the interior of the province 42 degrees on time, as in the interior of Alicante.
In Castilla-La Mancha it will be possible to register 39 degrees in HellÃn and Almansa (Albacete), and in Las Vegas del Segura (Murcia) up to 44 degrees on time. In the Balearic Islands it will reach up to 38 degrees in Mallorca and occasionally 39 in the area of ??Sa Pobla or Muro.
Finally, in Catalonia it will reach up to 36 degrees in the pre-coastal area of ??Barcelona, ??while in Madrid up to 38 degrees are expected in large areas of the community and 35 degrees in the mountains. The good news is that today the heat wave ends, and in the next few days the temperatures will drop.
