Jennifer Hermoso reappeared this Saturday night in the Women’s Cup final between Atlético de Madrid and Milan at the Wanda Alcalá de Henares Sports Center. The player, a Spanish international from the Mexican Pachuca and recent World Champion, followed the match from the box with Lola Romero, president of the women’s section of the Madrid club. She was cheered upon her arrival by the fans present in the stadium.
Before starting the match, the players of both teams have carried a banner with the inscription “With you Jennifer Hermoso”. In addition, the players have worn a wristband with the inscription “With you Jenni”, following the example of the San Diego Wave soccer players in their match against Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League of the United States.
The Madrid soccer player played for Atlético de Madrid in two periods, between 2004 and 2010 and between 2018 and 2019.
