A Maritime Rescue patrol vessel has found two bodies off the coast of Fuengirola, in Malaga, although it is ruled out that the bodies correspond to the two Argentines who disappeared last Sunday in Malaga while practicing paddle surfing.

One of the first hypotheses being considered is that it could be two migrants who would travel in a boat to the coast, although no boat has been found in the area. According to local media, the bodies would have appeared dressed, when the disappeared in Malaga, aged 29 and 34, would be wearing a swimsuit, and would not bear any physical resemblance to them.

At the moment, the search device for both is still active using airborne maritime resources from various emergency services.

It was in front of the Fuengirola sailing school, on the Western Costa del Sol, where the two bodies were found. The Maritime Rescue Patrol has rescued them from the sea and transferred them to the local port. Now, it is the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard who has taken charge of the case.

Meanwhile, the search continues for the two Argentines whose disappearance was reported on Sunday after they did not return to land. They had gone out to see the sunrise on a paddle surf board on the Misericordia beach in Malaga without taking into account the yellow alert for strong northerly winds. Salvage expands the area to locate them from Malaga to the Alboran Sea, as detailed on their social networks.

The padesurf board and the mate pipe that the young people were carrying were located around 6:43 p.m. this Monday 15 miles southeast of Malaga and collected by the Maritime Rescue vessel Salvamar Hamal, material that was taken over by the Judicial police.
