With the celebration next week, from September 4 to 10, of the XV edition of FesTVal (Vitoria-Gasteiz Television Festival) the new television season opens. The main channels present their big bets for the course, among which the adventure contest El Conquistador (RTVE), the fictional series Entre tierras (Antena 3), the reality show En busca del Nirvana (Cuatro) and the docuseries Bosé reborn (Movistar Plus).

Atresmedia will premiere in the capital of Álava one of the latest episodes of Amar es para siempre, the daily series that will end this fall after 11 seasons and more than 2,700 episodes. He will also present the series Entre tierras, an emotional drama set in Spain in the sixties starring an anonymous heroine played by Megan Montaner.

RTVE will announce El Conquistador at FesTVal, a contest recorded in paradisiacal but inhospitable places that test the physical and mental strength of the contestants and that will be presented by Raquel Sánchez Silva and Julian Iantzi (presenter of the same format that is broadcast successfully for 20 years on Basque television). The public channel will also present the daily series Salón de té La Moderna, based on the novel Tea rooms by Luisa Carnés. And you will not be able to miss a classic from the Álava event: MasterChef Celebrity, which is now in its eighth edition.

In the return of Mediaset to FesTVal after a few years of absence, the audiovisual group will present En busca del Nirvana, with Raúl Gómez, a twist on reality in which regular contestants of the genre will compete to find themselves far from their shared life in social networks. Mediaset will present more news that has not yet been revealed and will screen an episode of the thirteenth season of La que se avecina, an event that some of its actors will attend.

Movistar Plus will bring two novelties related to the world of music to FesTVal. The documentary Bisbal, in which the singer emerged from OT shows his most intimate and mature side, and the docuseries Bosé reborn. In addition, the platform will preview the second season of Everyone Lies, the series created and directed by Pau Freixas, and the new show That’s My Jam Spain, presented and co-produced by Arturo Valls.

For its part, AMC Selekt will present its programming for the coming months and will premiere the documentary series Conquistadores (History channel), a blockbuster that covers the great milestones and characters of the conquest of the New World by the Spanish Empire; the Franco-Belgian fiction series Good People (Sundance TV), a thriller with overtones of black comedy, and the new season of I’m going to eat the world (Have a good trip! ), the gastronomic program presented by journalist Verónica Zumalacárregui.
