Laura Escanes has made important changes to her tattoo collection, especially those related to her previous relationship with Risto Mejide. At the beginning of that affair with the Catalan presenter, Escanes decided to tattoo the word Mia on his forearm.

Now he has decided to modify it so that it loses its meaning related to Risto. These three italicized letters have expanded with two others to form Miami. The problem is that, just as the previous one was, Miami has been left with an accent.

Social networks have not missed the opportunity to make fun of the Catalan content creator. Thus, some users have laughed at the fact that the new tattoo has an accent, while others have wondered what the point is of tattooing the name of this American city. Another has been more eloquent: “What a truño.”

The word Mía was inspired by an emotional text that Mejide dedicated to her in 2015 and which became one of her “favorite tattoos.” This symbolic act not only reflected the love of the couple at that time, but also materialized in a YouTube video in which Escanes was the protagonist, accompanied by the voice of Mejide.

After the conclusion of her marriage, the content creator wanted to erase some tattoos that reminded her of her ex-partner – she even asked for help on Instagram to find out if the results were optimal – a move that generated widespread interest among her followers.

Given the reactions, the influencer shared her vision: despite not regretting her tattoos, since they represented genuine feelings at that moment, she recognized the evolution of her emotions and the importance of not tattooing names or signatures. “Everything else seems great to me, whether it’s boyfriends, friends, family or trips,” she added.
