The Civil Guard is investigating the death of a man and a woman whose lifeless bodies have been found in a home in Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén) with wounds caused by gunshots.
According to sources in the investigation, this is a couple who could be in the process of separating and whose bodies have been located around noon this Sunday by agents of the Local Police.
The two bodies present wounds from a firearm, without further information having been released at the moment. The same sources have specified that the woman was not in the VioGen system, although the first indications indicate that it could be a case of sexist violence.
This event is added to the one registered this Sunday in Seville, where the National Police have arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of a woman who, apparently, was his ex-partner and whom he would have slit his throat with a knife.
According to sources from the investigation, the man, whose identity has not been released, was arrested when he was preparing a rope, apparently with suicidal tendencies.
