Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Santiago Abascal will meet tomorrow in Congress within the round of contacts that the president of the PP is maintaining with the other parliamentary groups, to try to find support for his investiture, set for September 26 and 27, according to Vox sources reported.

Although the presidents of the PP and Vox have already reached an agreement, whereby the deputies of the far-right formation will vote in favor of Feijóo’s investiture, without demanding to enter a hypothetical government, the popular leader has wanted to meet with all the parties, including those that have already expressed their support, to analyze with them the document that he already delivered last week to Pedro Sánchez, and which is intended to be the basis of his government program.

Tomorrow will be the first public meeting of Feijóo and Abascal, who have already met on other occasions, but without being aware of it before or after the meeting, until a few days have passed. For this reason, the only photo that exists of both of them together is from the National Day parade, last October 12.

The meeting comes after the PP and PSOE reached an agreement for the Murcia government last Friday, which will mean the entry of two Vox members into the López Miras government, one of them as vice-president.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo will also meet on Wednesday, in the Canary Islands, with the president of that community and leader of the Canary Islands Coalition, Fernando Clavijo.

But the PP steering committee, meeting this Monday after suspending the party’s national board of directors because of DANA, spoke, above all, of another meeting, the one held by the second vice president of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, and the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont, in Brussels, something that the popular ones consider “a scandal”, because it involves “a member of the Government, because Yolanda Díaz does not stop being vice president on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays”, meets ” with a fugitive from Justice, who cannot enter Spain, to prevent the inauguration of Pedro Sánchez”.

Borja Semper, who appeared before the media after the meeting of the popular leadership, lamented that “it is now being seen as normal”, issues that in the opinion of the PP are not, such as “saying no to the PP and are willing to say yes to the independentists”, and say yes to issues that go against the Spaniards and the equality of citizens, as in their opinion they are “an amnesty à la carte” and “open a way for a process of separation from Spain”.

The PP spokesman has no doubt that Yolanda Díaz “is not going in a private capacity”, but is going on behalf of the Government and its president, which his trial confirms that Pedro Sánchez “are only thinking about his interests “, the same as Puigdemont “thinks of his own”, instead of thinking of the interests of the citizens, and for this reason “they are willing to change our legal system” to comply with the interests of a fugitive from Justice.

Semper stressed that Feijóo could be Prime Minister tomorrow, if he wanted to, giving Puigdemont what he wants, and that Sánchez is apparently willing to give, such as amnesty and the self-determination referendum.
