This morning Mañaneros was released, a new magazine by Jaime Cantizano who will try to win over the audience and take the public channel to the top and lead the mornings.
Among the different novelties presented by the television program, the public channel announced that they would have the presence of Pepa Jiménez, the mythical journalist and television collaborator who has not been seen on the small screen since 2010. On the 31st On August she went to the Spanish television set to present the program along with the rest of the team, but they all agreed that she would explain the reasons that had led her to be “disappeared” on the day of the premiere.
This morning when the program began, Jaime Cantizano left the set to go look for Pepa Jiménez, who was waiting for him behind the scenes. Making a poetic game of light (going from the dark area to the light of the space covered with spotlights), the journalist joined the rest of the collaborators.
Jiménez explained that she first left the small screen because her work had led to a series of programs and appearances that did not go with her, but later she revealed that she also had to take great care of herself and stop making any effort because she suffered from ovarian cancer.
“A few years ago, my daughter forced me to go to a gynecologist, and they detected ovarian cancer (…) They removed my ovaries and the tests revealed that the cancer was very bad. My daughter saved my life!” , recounted the visibly moved communicator before the watchful eye of the colleagues from the TVE space.
As he explained, Jiménez spent more than two years in absolute rest, taking maximum care of himself to strengthen himself and return to being what he was before. “My hair fell out, because there are some chemos that make your hair fall out (…) Fortunately I’m fine, I’m here and it comes out. It comes out of this,” the woman shared, advising the audience to get it done reviews often.
The new television season has just started. This morning, the public channel has premiered one of the great assets of its new phase: Mañaneros, the new program by Jaime Cantizano.
Although the program will be hosted by the legendary presenter, he will have the support of Miriam Moreno and Marc Santandreu at all times. Regarding the content of said space, topics of events, politics and social chronicle will be dealt with, as well as the gossip.
