The disappeared in Madrid are a middle-aged man whose car was swept away on Sunday night by the Alberche river as it passed through Aldea del Fresno when he was traveling with his wife and two children, found alive, and another 83-year-old man who was also swept away by the current in Villamanta.
Although the decrease in the water level in the Alberche has allowed the emergency services to once again explore areas in which they already searched on Monday, the accumulation of branches and trees and the piles of sand have continued to hinder the operation, they have informed EFE.
