On Friday, September 8, the proclamation will kick off the Sant Adrià de Besòs Festival, which has a program of activities for all audiences that will end on September 11.
From September 8 to 11 you can enjoy the wide range of activities of the Sant Adrià Festival. During these days, the spaces of the city will be the scene of recreational, cultural and sports activities aimed at everyone, big and small, and one more year the residents will fill the streets and will be able to make the city their own.
This year the party proclamation will be given by Joan and Helena, owners of the endearing restaurant La Deliciosa, with more than seventy years of history in the city and who are now retiring.
Music and dance, two essentials of the major festivals, will liven up the nights and afternoons of these days in September. The concert of the Benet Bails Municipal School of Music and the festival of dance and dance entities with the participation of dance schools from the municipality stand out. There will be no lack of tradition with the tabalada, the plantada and the parade of giants and the correfoc, as well as cultural activities such as the cultural route through Sant Adrià, exhibitions and cinema.
Sports entities will also have a very active participation with the organization of billiards, petanque, chess, tennis and domino tournaments, and a cycling race. The Fiesta del Mar and the Fiesta del Río will offer fun activities for the whole family on the beach and in the river park. The end of the party will be culminated by the fireworks display that can be seen from different parts of the city.
