The legendary television presenter María Teresa Campos died last Tuesday, September 5 at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation Hospital. The communicator had been admitted two days earlier due to acute respiratory failure.

After almost 48 hours struggling to move forward and the doctors at the clinic explaining that the situation was increasingly serious, the presenter of nationally successful programs such as Every Day, What’s Interesting or What a Happy Time passed away. 82 years old.

With the loss of the popularly known as ‘queen of the mornings’, Spanish society has been left ‘orphaned’ forever. Few famous deaths in our country have had a television and social display like that of the matriarch of the Campos clan.

It should be noted that María Teresa Campos was a very beloved person in the media, as well as by colleagues, musicians, actors… and millions of fans that our country accumulated.

The daughters of the Malaga journalist witnessed all the love she received in her last goodbye, something that filled their hearts with satisfaction and made them feel very proud of their mother and the great legacy she leaves behind with her death.

Although the former collaborators of the Telecinco program Sálvame are broken with the departure of their mother, they are calm because she left in peace, surrounded by her family and all the important people in her life. Furthermore, the Campos family set an example and the relatives who had some differences decided to put aside the problems and live as a group such a difficult, but also so important, moment in their lives.

The Andalusian communicator bought a 200-square-meter penthouse in Malaga, her homeland, more than four decades ago. The house, which is located around the Pedregalejo beach, was the summer residence of the presenter and her family and even Bigote Arrocet spent great family moments of tranquility and disconnection in said house.

As SEMANA magazine has revealed exclusively, the pair of sisters will spend a few days relaxing at home to try to experience their personal grief and try to compose themselves before taking charge of their lives. Both Carmen Borrego and Terelu Campos need to flee from the media controversies and focus on the death of her mother and on coping with the loss in the best possible way.
