The war continues in Ukraine. Russian forces launched 32 explosive drones into Ukraine, mainly in the Kyiv region, overnight from Saturday to Sunday, according to the Ukrainian military, which claimed to have shot down 25 of them.
“Last night, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 32 kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type, 25 of which were destroyed by the Ukrainian air defense forces. The Russian occupiers directed most of the attack drones towards the Kyiv region” , indicated the Ukrainian general. Staff updated their situation Sunday morning.
According to Kyiv’s military administration, an apartment was damaged by falling debris, as were cars and trolleybus cables. One person was injured but his life is not in danger, he wrote on Telegram.

According to the head of the capital’s military administration, Sergei Popko, the remains of the downed drones fell in the Svyatoshynskyi, Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
Debris fell on a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of central Kyiv, causing no casualties but starting a fire that was extinguished by the owners, Popko said on Telegram.
In the Sviatohynskyi district, located west of the capital, debris caused a fire in Sovky Park, one of the city’s best-known public gardens, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram.
In the Podilskyi district of central Kyiv, debris fell into an open space and doctors who arrived at the scene treated a person suffering from an attack of “acute stress,” according to Klitschko.
According to the mayor, other burning debris fell on a road in the central Solomyanskyi district.
For its part, Russia tonight destroyed three fast military landing craft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and eight drones near the coast of the annexed Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported today.
“Tonight, in the western part of the Black Sea, northeast of Snake Island, the aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed three high-speed military boats of American manufacture Willard Sea Force with landing groups of the Armed Forces from Ukraine who were traveling in the direction of the Crimean coast,” the military institution indicated.
Furthermore, the department headed by Sergei Shoigu claimed on its Telegram channel to have shot down eight drones over the Black Sea near Crimea during the early hours of the morning with anti-aircraft defense systems.
Already the day before, Defense indicated that another unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed over the territory of the peninsula that Russia annexed in 2014.
Ukrainian attacks and landing attempts by Kyiv troops in Crimea have multiplied in the last month.
