Carmen Lomana has shown on more than one occasion that she has an opinion on any topic that is asked of her. The businesswoman has always been happy to respond to any current topic that reporters ask her, also responding with complete sincerity and without mincing words.

As it could not be otherwise, the socialite also has a firm opinion on one of the issues that is currently occupying the most space in the media: the imprisonment of Daniel Sancho, son of actor Rodolfo Sancho, after confessing to having murdered and dismembered to the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta.

Carmen Lomana reappeared in Madrid after spending her summer vacation between the Costa del Sol and Asturias, and was intercepted by reporters to talk about it and, incidentally, be asked for her opinion on the atrocious crime and whether or not she knew about it. if Daniel Sancho asked Froilán de Marichalar for help after committing the crime, presumably.

“Who is going to help that monster?” asked Lomana, who claimed to feel “disgust” and “horror” for everything that happened. The socialite described Sancho as a “psychopath”, not showing the slightest regret for what happened. However, although she insisted that she was not one to judge anyone, she admitted that she did not feel “the slightest bit of empathy for this guy.”

What Carmen Lomana is clear about is that she would not at all like to be in the shoes of the parents of the confessed murderer of Edwin Arrieta, Rodolfo Sancho and Silvia Bronchalo. The chef’s mother has been in Thailand for almost a month, visiting her son daily, while the actor moved to the Asian country last week with lawyer Marcos García Montes, in order to visit him and be able to analyze the relevant documentation for the trial. , especially now with the change of lawyers at the last minute.

Lomana empathizes with both, but was very critical of the attitude of the protagonist of The Ministry of Time. “He bothers me when he says that [Daniel Sancho] is very well, he eats phenomenally, he is delighted… Look, shut up because what he has done is very hard.”

The socialite refers to the interpreter’s statements upon leaving Bangkok, where he claimed to feel more “calm” seeing that his son was being treated very well in prison. “I am pleasantly surprised, I have been very calm (…). Daniel is very well taken care of by tremendously kind people, which is what I have realized are the people in this country” explained Sancho, before traveling to Spain .

Sancho, 29, was arrested on August 5 on the tourist island of Koh Phangan, in southern Thailand, after confessing to the murder and dismemberment of the Colombian surgeon three days earlier. Since August 7, the day he was brought to justice, the young man has been in provisional prison in Koh Samui, awaiting trial.

The Thai Police have a period of 84 days from that date to conclude their investigation. Although the report is delivered in the coming days, the investigation could continue later, since the Prosecutor’s Office – which has requested the death penalty for the detainee – would have the remaining period of 84 days to request more evidence if it considers it necessary. At the moment, the trial is expected to take place at the end of this year.
