With almost 1,000 HP, 952 to be exact, the new Taycan is the most powerful street Porsche in history. The German brand’s zero emissions model, completely updated, reaches new heights in terms of performance, dynamism and driving pleasure, but also in terms of efficiency, autonomy, ease of daily use and comfort.

It was at the end of 2019 when Porsche began a new era towards sustainable mobility with its first 100% electric vehicle. With this groundbreaking concept it immediately proved to be a revolutionary, pioneering and innovative car in the smoke-free sports car segment.

Now, the German manufacturer continues the success story of the Taycan – which has accumulated almost 150,000 units sold – and implements numerous modifications in the three available body variants: the elegant sports saloon, the versatile Cross Turismo – available with an Offroad package – and the practical Sport Turismo.

From the launch date, starting this spring, each will have four engine options, with rear- and all-wheel drive versions, and improved performance in every way.

The new Taycans accelerate much faster than their predecessors. Thus, at both ends of the range, the variations are especially notable: with a sedan body, the Taycan and the Taycan Turbo S reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 4.8 and 2.4 seconds, respectively. This makes them 0.6 and 0.4 seconds faster than the previous ones.

The greater acceleration capacity is the result of greater system power, so they are not only faster in terms of speed, but also exhibit an even stronger thrust force. The basic Taycan delivers 60 kW more than before and in the Turbo S it is an additional 140 kW.
