Tarragona City Council wants to improve traffic calming and plans to act in a hundred points in the city. To do so, the council approved, this Friday in plenary session, a new modification of the municipal budget to obtain 100,000 euros and be able to apply for a subsidy focused on mitigation and adaptation actions to climate change.
According to the Mobility Councilor, Sonia Orts, the City Council could get up to 300,000 more euros to improve mobility and road safety in the municipality. During the municipal plenary session, it was also approved to allocate 15,000 euros to the Catalan Fund for Development Cooperation campaign to help the victims of the Moroccan earthquake.
